2026 Pokémon World Championships TCG Promo Cards, More, Revealed
During the closing ceremonies of the Pokémon North America International Championships, several new Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) promo cards for the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and PokémonXP were unveiled. Along with the promo cards, the 2026 Pokémon World Championships Welcome Kit and the Champion’s line were also revealed. Three specific TCG promo cards were highlighted, some of which follow a familiar pattern. Here's a breakdown of what we know about each and how to obtain every Worlds-related Pokémon TCG promo card.
2026 Paradise Resort Promo Card
The 2026 Paradise Resort promo card will be included in the World Championships competitors' welcome kits. This card is a new variation of the Paradise Resort promo card produced for Worlds competitors since 2022. It features a gold World Championships 2026 stamp and includes Pikachu, Sylveon, Archaludon, Klawf, and more in the background. This card is a must-have for any competitor attending the event, as it serves as a unique memento of the 2026 Pokémon World Championships.
2026 Worlds Pikachu Promo Card
The 2026 Worlds Pikachu promo card will be available for participants at Worlds Celebration Tournaments held at Play! Pokémon Stores events from August 21st to August 30th. The Japanese version of this card was revealed earlier this month during the Japan Championships. This Pikachu card features a World Championships 2026 stamp, Gardevoir, and a city skyline with a familiar-looking bridge that resembles San Francisco's famed Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Top finishers will receive a special variation of this card with a "Winner" gold stamp, along with a special microfiber cloth, deck box, and card sleeves.
Additionally, we may see this card available for purchase in-person at the World Championships and PokémonXP in San Francisco, as well as online at the Pokémon Center with a special code, similar to how the 2025 World Championships Pikachu promo card was distributed.
2026 PokémonXP Rayquaza Promo Card
The 2026 PokémonXP Rayquaza promo card will be available for all badged attendees of the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and PokémonXP. It features a PXP stamp, making it a unique addition to any TCG collection. This card is exclusive to those attending the event, emphasizing the importance of being present at both the World Championships and PokémonXP.
We also got a first look at the Championships Welcome Kit, exclusive for 2026 Pokémon World Championships competitors. The kit includes two different themed Pikachu: a male Pikachu in king's garb and a female Pikachu in a space suit. These unique designs showcase the creativity and variety that the Pokémon World Championships bring to the TCG community.
In addition to the promo cards, Pokémon also announced multiple exhibitors coming to PokémonXP, including LEGO, Santa Cruz, Crocs, Funko, Stern Pinball, Build-A-Bear, Jazwares, Bandai, Spirits, Sideshow, and more. These partnerships highlight the growing influence of the Pokémon brand beyond just the TCG.
