Crimson Desert is full of interesting gadgets and items, but the Bleed Bandits' Alchemy Explosive Pack might just take the cake. This unique backpack generates bombs whenever you take damage. Normally, it’s a durability-based item, but with the right approach, you can trigger it yourself—completely bypassing the damage and durability cost. When used properly, it becomes an infinite bomb-creator, making it a game-changing addition to your arsenal.
Finding the Alchemy Explosive Pack
The Bleed Bandits' Alchemy Explosive Pack isn’t something you can acquire through a specific quest. Instead, you’ll need to head to the Southern Quarry and find enemies who are already equipped with it. Defeating these enemies should drop the item, but there’s currently a bug that causes the backpack to fall through the ground and disappear—making it impossible to pick up.
Tips to Secure the Backpack
To overcome this issue, you should keep Wind Veil active while defeating the enemy. This will give you a slight buffer and help you react quickly. Also, make sure to grab the backpack the moment it drops—don’t delay, or it might vanish before you can collect it.
Another effective method is to isolate one of the bandits and use Nature's Snare suspended directly over them. Once they’re trapped, quickly finish them off and grab the pack before it disappears.
Using the Backpack to Its Full Potential
Once you’ve successfully acquired the Bleed Bandits' Alchemy Explosive Pack, you can turn it into a powerful tool. The backpack detects enemy hits and dispenses bombs when you take damage. However, you can negate this effect by using your own attacks to trigger the bombs.
Triggering Bombs Yourself

Additionally, if you’re in the hitbox of your own attack—such as Spirit Judgement or Blinding Flash Finisher—you’ll also activate the pack’s bomb ability.
