The UK has a proud history of creating iconic video game franchises and is home to world-renowned developers ⁠– now, a new major showcase event, For One Night Only, is shining a light on the world-class games made by British studios.

Throughout its approximately 60-80 minute livestream, For One Night Only will feature new trailers, exclusive reveals and on-stage interviews with some of the UK’s biggest and best games industry talent. With a lineup that includes IO Interactive, Team 17 and Criterion (just to name a few), it's easy to see why the UK continues to be a games industry powerhouse.

What to Expect From For One Night Only

Hosted by comedian Bec Hill in front of a VIP industry audience at Outernet in London’s West End, For One Night Only will feature a mix of exclusive reveals, trailers and never-before-seen interviews from both industry titans and indie talent.

A selection of the developers and publishers, and the games they are showcasing include: Annapurna Interactive with The Lost Wild and Silent Hill: Townfall, Bandai Namco with Little Nightmares 3, IO Interactive with 007 First Light and Yogscast Games with PlateUp!.

For One Night Only will also be supported by a special Steam sale featuring participating British video game studios. The FONO Steam sale starts at 6PM BST on 29th July and runs for one week, so you can make a saving when jumping in to the games featured in the show!
