Pokemon Pokopia Wish Upon a Jirachi Event And All Rewards
Another special event has arrived in Pokopia, offering players the chance to meet a new Pokemon and earn limited-time cosmetics. This month’s event, themed around the wish-granting Pokemon known as Jirachi, brings with it a variety of unique rewards and activities. This guide will walk you through how to participate in the Wish Upon a Jirachi event and highlight all the known event rewards.
Event Details and Duration
The Wish Upon a Jirachi event is live from June 23 to July 8. The event will begin and end at 5 AM local time for players. Unlike previous events that included time travel mechanics, this event does not support time travel functionality at the time of writing.
Similar to past events featuring Bulbasaur and Sableye, Jirachi can be found outside any Pokemon Centers that have been restored. This means you need to progress far enough in the game to befriend Bulbasaur and rebuild the first Pokemon Center as part of the "Yawn up a Storm" important request in the Withered Wastelands.
Jirachi Event Rewards
This new event allows players to befriend Jirachi and earn exclusive event items. Speaking with Jirachi outside of any Pokemon Center will prompt the Pokemon to request Sparkling Wish Notes. This special event currency is only available during the Wish Upon a Jirachi event.
How to Obtain Sparkling Wish Notes
To get Sparkling Wish Notes, you’ll need to craft Wish Notes at a workbench. Use the Wish Notes while interacting with other Pokemon in the world and fulfill their wish requests. When you grant a Pokemon's wish, a Wish Note will transform into a Sparkling Wish Note.
Once you have Sparkling Wish Notes, you can exchange them at any restored Pokemon Center with Jirachi. The Pokemon will allow you to trade them for star-themed furniture and other exclusive items. These include:
- A starry bed
- A clock
- A wardrobe
- A rug
- A cannon
- And more
The event runs for two weeks, giving players ample time to collect Sparkling Wish Notes and claim their rewards.
If you missed the Sableye event, which did include time travel mechanics, you can still find a complete guide on how to meet Sableye and earn its exclusive items.
