Activision is celebrating Military Appreciation Month by bringing a legendary real-life soldier directly to the frontlines of the franchise. To honour active duty personnel and veteran service members, the studio has announced a new charitable initiative featuring Captain Chris Cassidy in a special content release designed to support the Call of Duty Endowment.
The Navigator: Tracer Pack Featuring Chris Cassidy
This year’s featured content, the Navigator: Tracer Pack, draws direct inspiration from the incredible career of Captain Chris Cassidy. A retired US Navy SEAL and former NASA astronaut, Cassidy played an active role in the development of this unique DLC.
His real-world service is nothing short of cinematic, bridging the gap between elite special operations and space exploration. Some of his most notable achievements include:
- Earning the Bronze Star for leading a critical nine-day operation at the Zhawar Kili cave complex.
- Participating in high-stakes search operations in the weeks following 9/11.
- Completing six spacewalks during his tenure as an astronaut.
- Spending a total of 182 days in space.
How The Call of Duty Charity Bundle Supports Veterans
The release of this Call of Duty charity bundle serves a much larger purpose than just cosmetic upgrades for your loadout. In line with previous Military Appreciation Month releases, 100% of the net proceeds from the Navigator: Tracer Pack in Black Ops 6 and Warzone will be donated directly to the Call of Duty Endowment.
While Activision has not yet officially announced the pricing for this specific bundle, players can expect it to fall within the historical $20–$25 range seen in previous years. This initiative ensures that every purchase helps provide essential career training and transition support for service members moving into civilian life.
