San Diego Comic-Con is one of the biggest events in the world of entertainment, and it’s set to reveal new looks and deep dives into our favorite movies and TV shows, including those that are most anticipated.
From Marvel’s long-awaited return to Hall H ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, to new looks at The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Blade Runner 2099, Lanterns, Carrie, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and much more, there is a lot to look forward to. We’re here to share what we are most excited about for SDCC!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians (July 23 at 10am PT)Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is set to debut on Disney+ on November 20, 2026, and fans will get an exclusive first look at the new episodes during SDCC. Cast and crew from Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be on hand, and they’ll also chat behind-the-scenes stories, talk about new characters, and preview what it will be like when the Titan’s Curse is brought to life.
Honorable Mention - Marvel’s Wolverine: Deep Cuts (July 23 at 12pm PT)We know it isn’t a film or TV show, but we can’t wait for Marvel’s Wolverine on PS5, and SDCC is going to give us a sneak (snikt?!) peek at the upcoming game from Insomniac that will be released on September 15, 2026.
Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (July 23 at 2pm PT)The voice cast and creative team behind Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender will dive deep into the making of this new Paramount+ film that had a major leak and was once set for the big screen. The much-anticipated film will be released on July 25, and you can read our review right now.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe (July 23 at 2:15pm PT)The Big Bang Theory spin-off called Stuart Fails to Save the Universe will have an exclusive advance screening at SDCC, and that will be followed by a panel with the cast and crew of the HBO Max series that will also premiere later that day on July 23.
Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 Advanced Screening and Q&A with Cast and Crew (July 23 at 3:30pm PT)Ahead of its premiere on July 31 on Prime Video, the first episode of Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 will be taking center stage at SDCC. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the voice cast and creative team of the animated noir series. We enjoyed the first season, as we gave it a 7/10 and said: “Batman: Caped Crusader isn’t Batman: The Animated Series, but it does apply its spirit to a captivating detective story.”
Onslaught (July 23 at 5:30pm PT)Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett’s Onslaught is headed to SDCC, and we’ll get a new look at the film. It’s about an army sniper who must protect a young daughter from a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers who break loose in the desert, and we’ll find out more on July 23.
Blade Runner 2099 (July 24 at 10am PT)Prime Video is ready to share an exclusive new look at Blade Runner 2099 with a panel featuring the cast and executive producers. They’ll reveal more of the series that continues the franchise that began with 1982’s Blade Runner and its sequel, 2017’s Blade Runner 2049. The series is set to premiere in 2027 with lead Michelle Yeoh.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (July 24 at 10am PT)The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is returning for its third season on November 11, 2026, and fans will get an exclusive look at the new episodes as well as hearing from the cast and executive producers. This is a big one, as this season will be when we’ll witness Sauron making the One Ring!
Adventure Time: Side Quests (July 24 at 11am PT)Get ready for more of Finn the Human and Jake the Dog as Adventure Time: Side Quests is on its way. SDCC will provide a fresh look at the brand-new series now streaming on Hulu and Disney+ in the US.
The Walking Dead: Dead City (July 24 at 11:45am PT)Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Dead City is set to premiere on July 26, and SDCC will feature sneak peeks of the premiere episode and a chat with the cast and producers of the spin-off that stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan. The Vampire Lestat (July 24 at 12:30pm PT)The Vampire Lestat’s first season has just come to an end, and the cast and producers of the series will be on bloody hand to discuss the much-anticipated finale. Lanterns (July 24 at 1:30pm PT)A brand-new look at Lanterns is nearly here, as the HBO Max series from co-creators Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King is coming to SDCC. Series stars Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, Garret Dillahunt, and Poorna Jagannathan will also be there to talk about the show and share behind-the-scenes details. Lanterns will debut on HBO Max on August 16, 2026.
My Adventures with Superman (July 24 at 2pm PT)The next chapter of My Adventures with Superman is flying toward us soon, and the cast and creative team will be at SDCC to give a preview of Season 3 and talk about how the show “continues to reimagine the world’s most iconic hero with heart, humor, and action.”
X-Men ’97 (July 24 at 2:15pm PT)We’re currently in the middle of Season 2 of X-Men ’97, but that doesn’t mean the creative team behind the series can’t take a few moments to talk about the show, share stories about its development, and tease what’s to come!
Rick and Morty (July 24 at 3pm PT)Season 9 of Rick and Morty is currently going strong, and executive producers Dan Harmon and Scott Marder will stop by SDCC to give a deeper look at the current episodes, share behind-the-scenes tales, and discuss what’s next.
King of the Hill (July 24 at 4pm PT)We gave Season 15 of King of the Hill a 10/10, so you could say we’re excited for this panel with the cast and crew of the series as they share an inside look at this new era of the show and what’s coming for our favorite characters.
Spaceballs: The New One (July 24 at 4pm PT)Spaceball: The New One is headed to a galaxy near us on April 23, 2027, and SDCC will give us a “behind-the-schwartz” look at the sequel to the 1987 classic.
Honorable Mention - God of War Laufey: Forging God of War’s Next Heroes (July 24 at 5:30pm PT)Join the creative team behind the upcoming God of War Laufey as they discuss new details about the much-anticipated follow-up to 2022’s God of War Ragnarok, including behind-the-scenes insights from development and performance capture.
Dark Matter (July 24 at 10pm PT)Apple TV and Den of Geek are presenting an exclusive fan screening of the first episode of Dark Matter Season 2, and there will also be special guests on hand, including stars Joel Edgerton and Dayo Okeniyi, creator Blake Crouch, exec producer Matt Tolmach, and producer Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry. Season 2 of Dark Matter will premiere on August 28, 2026.
Bob’s Burgers (July 25 at 10am PT)Join the voice cast and crew of Bob’s Burgers as they talk about what’s been going on with the Belcher family and what may be ahead for them.
Batman: Knightfall Part 1 - Knightfall (July 25 at 10am PT)Batman: Knightfall Part 1 - Knightfall is an upcoming multi-part animated event that will see Bane freeing Batman’s entire rogues’ gallery from Arkham Asylum. As you can imagine, this isn’t going to go well, and the cast and crew will share more about what fans can expect. Futurama (July 25 at 11am PT)In what’s being described as the “wildest Futurama panel since ever,” fans should look forward to getting some world-premiere footage of the new season that will debut on Hulu on August 3, including details on how it came to life.
The Simpsons (July 25 at 11:45am PT)The Simpsons is back for its “one millionth” time at SDCC, and Matt Groening and other guests will be on hand to present an “exclusive world premiere sneak preview of a chilling new story that challenges everything you thought you knew about Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Barney.”
Star Trek Universe (July 25 at 12:30pm PT)While Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 will take center stage with a premiere on July 23, this Star Trek Universe panel will do so much more; we’ll get a celebration of Star Trek’s 60th anniversary alongside “exclusive footage, major reveals, surprise appearances, and memorable moments.”
American Dad (July 25 at 12:45pm PT)American Dad is getting ready to celebrate its 400th episode, and stars Scott Grimes and Dee Bradley Baker, alongside writers Nic Wegener, Zack Rosenblatt, and Parker Deay, will share a sneak peak at what’s ahead for our characters in Langley Falls.
Family Guy (July 25 at 1:30pm PT)Get ready for a preview of what’s next for Family Guy with stars Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Arif Zahir, and Jennifer Tilly, supervising director Peter Shin, and showrunner and executive producer Rich Appel.
Apple TV Hall H Panel (July 25, 2026 at 2pm PT)Apple TV is hosting a big panel in Hall H where it will share a sneak peek at its upcoming TV series and films, including Matchbox: the Movie, Dark Matter, Mayday, Widow’s Bay, and the current season of Silo.
Reacher and Neagley (July 25 at 3:30pm PT)Reacher is returning to Prime Video with its fourth season on August 12, 2026, and we’ll get first looks, reveals, behind-the-scenes insights, and much more. However, we’ll also be getting a look at Neagley, the spin-off that follows ex-military police officer Frances Neagley as a private investigator in Chicago. The connection? She also happens to be the former protégé of Jack Reacher during their time in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. Neagely will premiere on Prime Video on September 16, 2026.
Carrie (July 25 at 5pm PT)Mike Flanagan is reimagining Carrie as a new series for Prime Video nearly 50 years after the original film based on Stephen King’s novel, and Flanagan will be stopping by SDCC with other members of the team behind the project to give a new look at never-before-seen footage, discuss what the show is all about, and to present a “special announcement.” Carrie is set to premiere in October 2026.
Marvel Studios Hall H (July 25 at 5:30pm PT)After skipping last year, Marvel Studios returns to SDCC’s Hall H for a big presentation that will arrive just a few months before Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026. While Marvel hasn’t said much else about what to expect, we do know the presentation will feature Kevin Feige and other special guests, and that we will be getting a “look at what’s next from Marvel Studios.”
