007 First Light is now out, and so too is a fresh update for the game. IO Interactive has revealed the patch notes for the James Bond simulator, which will address several issues ranging from cutscene crashes to guards choosing violence first.

The size of the patch isn't too large, clocking in at around 200-500MB on PC and console. The only exception here is if you purchased the game from the Microsoft Store on PC, as it's essentially a fresh reinstall at 46GB. Looking closer at patch 1.01 for 007 First Light, some of the major issues include a fix for a Bond and Moneypenny cutscene, as once the two entered an elevator, the game would crash. Other scenes revolving around M's office and a return to London in Chapter 5 have also been addressed.

Given the intricate nature of the environments that IO Interactive has built for 007 First Light, there have been a few more issues that have cropped up. Pathing issues with Greenway and other NPCs should be rectified now, and a Chapter 6 problem that resulted in security guards becoming immediately hostile instead of engaging in dialogue has been addressed. You can see the full patch notes below:

The new game from Hitman developer IO Interactive, 007 First Light has received positive reviews since it launched earlier this week. "James Bond inspired Hitman, and now the circle is complete, as IO Interactive's James Bond game wears its Hitman influence with pride," Mark Delaney wrote in GameSpot's 007 First Light review.

If you're jumping into the game, you can dress for success by easily unlocking three bonus outfits in 007 First Light. While it remains to be seen how successful the game is when it comes to sales, IO Interactive is already teasing a sequel, and it has ambitious plans to create its very own trilogy of James Bond games.
