The first trailer for Resynced, the highly anticipated AC: Black Flag Remake, has officially arrived. While the footage looks stunning, eagle-eyed fans immediately noticed a glaring omission: there wasn't much blood to be seen. For a title centered around naval combat and swordplay, the lack of gore felt out of place.

Gore is Coming to the AC: Black Flag Remake

If you were worried about the lack of carnage in the initial footage, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Producer Justin Ng took to social media to reassure players that the violence will be present in the final version of the AC: Black Flag Remake.

"There WILL be blood in the final game," Ng stated, confirming the title will match the intensity of the 2013 original. Ng even added a humorous note regarding the budget for such effects, joking that players wouldn't need to shell out extra cash for the carnage. "It will not be a paid DLC," Ng wrote.

ESRB Rating and Content Expectations

The level of violence expected in Resynced is already reflected in its official age rating. Much like its predecessor, the game is rated M for Mature by the ESRB. The content description specifically highlights:

  • Blood
  • Violence

This ensures that fans can expect the same gritty atmosphere that made the original a classic.
