Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Release Date and Details
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone fans, prepare for a new wave of action with the arrival of Season 4 Reloaded later this month. Activision has already shared some exciting details about this midseason update, which promises to bring new weapons, additional multiplayer maps, a fresh Zombies map, and a variety of limited-time events.
Season 4 Reloaded will be available starting June 25. As with previous updates, the release is scheduled for 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST, and will be accessible on all platforms. This is a key moment for players looking to expand their arsenal and explore new content.
New Weapons and Events
Among the new additions is the AN-94 assault rifle, a classic weapon from Black Ops 2, making a return in this update. Players will also gain access to the Executioner's Duet, a new melee weapon that adds variety to close-quarters combat.
The update introduces several new seasonal events, including the Summer of Action Daily Login event, which rewards players with cosmetic items for logging in daily. Additionally, Ranked Series Events will be available for multiplayer and Resurgence, offering unique challenges and rewards. A new event specific to the Kowakujo Zombies map will also be introduced, providing more ways to earn exclusive in-game items.
Multiplayer Maps and Limited-Time Modes
Season 4 Reloaded includes two new multiplayer maps: Zenith and Launch. Zenith is a brand-new 6v6 map set in a luxurious cliffside manor, while Launch is a remake of the Black Ops 1 map that takes place at a missile launch site. Both maps are designed to provide fresh gameplay experiences and strategic opportunities.
Two limited-time modes are also being added to multiplayer. Team Blueprint Sharpshooter is a 6v6 mode where weapon blueprints rotate every few seconds. Each player receives the same new weapon during each rotation, and the cycle continues until a team reaches the score limit. Another returning mode is Knife Fight, a melee-only variant of the popular Gunfight mode, offering a unique and fast-paced experience.
New Zombies Map and Wonder Weapon
The highlight of this update is the introduction of the Kowakujo Zombies map, a brand-new map centered around Takeo's family castle in Japan. The map's setting includes active volcanoes and a brand-new supernatural Wonder Weapon that players can unlock and use in the game. A cinematic trailer for Kowakujo showcases the Zombies crew battling undead foes while navigating through lava-filled environments.
Endgame and New Skill Track
Endgame continues to evolve with the addition of a new act of missions called Operation King Killer. More details about these missions will be revealed closer to the release of the midseason update.
Additionally, a new Guardian skill track is being introduced. This skill allows players to withstand more damage, support their teammates, and effectively punish attackers, making it a valuable addition to both solo and team-based gameplay.
New Warzone Mode
The midseason update also brings a new limited-time mode to Warzone called Squad Gun. This mode is played on the smaller Resurgence maps and is essentially Call of Duty's Gun Game mode adapted for Warzone. Squads will drop into matches with the goal of cycling through a pre-determined number of weapons. By eliminating enemy targets, players progress to the next weapon. The first squad to complete the cycle wins the match.
With the arrival of Season 4 Reloaded, players can expect a mix of new content, fresh challenges, and exciting gameplay modes. Whether you're diving into the new Zombies map or testing your skills in the updated multiplayer and Warzone modes, there's plenty to keep you engaged.
