Using The Sims 4 Life & Death cheats is the fastest way to max out your Thanatology skills, jump to the top of the new Reaper active career, or unlock ultimate abilities for your ghost Sims.

Mastering the Afterlife: Career Cheats for Undertakers and Repers

The Life & Death expansion introduces two distinct new career paths: Undertaker and Reaper. If you want to skip the grind and become a scythe-wielding dealer of death, the Reaper career is the objective-based active career you need.

New Death Methods and Using The Sims 4 Life & Death cheats to Undo Them

While many deaths in the expansion are simply new contexts for existing causes like old age, the "Murder of Crows" is a truly unique way to go. While we haven't found a specific cheat code to trigger this death directly, you can use The Sims 4 Life & Death cheats to manipulate the process.

How to get murdered by crows

If you are looking to experience this new death, follow these steps:

  • Place a "Grim Standard Ascendant Crow" from Buy Mode.
  • Enable testingcheats true in the cheat console.
  • Shift + Click the crow and select Cheat Relationship > Set Min Friendship.
  • Normal click the crow and select Socialize > Provoke.
  • Repeat the provoke action until the crow becomes "dangerously" angry.

How to remove a cause of death

There is currently no known trait cheat to easily remove the "crow'd ghost" status, but you can attempt to un-ghost yourself by removing the cause of death via Create-A-Sim. Note that this method may not work for all players when re-entering Live Mode.

  1. Enable testingcheats true in the cheat console.
  2. Enable cas.fulleditmode in the cheat console.
  3. Shift + Click your Sim and select "Modify in CAS."
  4. Open the "cause of death" panel in the top left.
  5. Hover over the selected death and click the X to remove it.
  6. Click the Checkmark in the bottom right to save your changes.

Skill and Trait Cheats for Ghost Mastery

To truly master the occult side of this expansion, you will need to manipulate your Sims' skills and personality traits. Use testingcheats true before attempting any skill level adjustments.

Thanatology Skill

The expansion features one new skill track: Thanatology.

  • Max Skill Cheat: stats.set_skill_level Minor_Thanatology 5

Personality Traits

There are three new standard traits available in this expansion. You can add these by using cas.fulleditmode, clicking your Sim, and selecting "Modify in CAS" to find them under the "Lifestyle" section. Alternatively, use these console codes:

  • Grimborn: traits.equip_trait grimborn (Marks a Sim as a child of the Grim Reaper).
  • Grim Descendant: traits.equip_trait GrimDescendant (The child of a Grimborn Sim).
  • Grim's Right Hand: traits.equip_trait trait_ReaperCareer_DeathReward (Reward for reaching Rank 10 in the Reaper career).

Soul's Journey Cheats

If you want to fast-track your progress through the new aspiration, you can use cheats to add items directly to your Sim's bucket list.

To easily add items to the Soul's Journey section of their Aspirations panel:

  1. Enable testingcheats true in the cheat console.
  2. Shift + Click your Sim.
  3. Navigate the interaction path: Pack Cheats > Expansion packs > EP17 - Life & Death > Add Unfinished Business Objective.
  4. Choose a category, such as "I want to create!" or "I wanna party!", to select a specific goal.
