GameStop has announced a 1v1 Halo 3 tournament, and the top prize is one of the best-looking Xbox consoles ever designed.

The retailer is hosting a one-day tournament at its Euless, Texas location on Saturday, June 6 where people can square off against Michael “Flamesword” Chaves for a chance to win the Xbox 360 Halo 3 edition console.

The system, which was originally released in 2007 for Halo 3's launch, has a tasty color palette that's meant to match Master Chief's own color scheme.

The fine print of the "1v1 Me Bro" tournament states that you must be 18 or older to participate, and the contest is taking place with a first-come queue. The first person to beat Flamesword will win the contest and the event will end.

There are no other details, but presumably the contest will be played on an Xbox 360. If you want the Halo 3 Xbox 360 but don't want to play in the tournament, you can buy it from GameStop for $100.

If you're interested in attending the contest, you can visit the GameStop store at 1301 W Glade Road in Euless, Texas. The event begins at 5 PM on June 6.

In other GameStop news, the retailer is currently trying to acquire eBay, but the auction site flatly rejected the video game store's $56 billion offer.

In other Halo news, Halo: Campaign Evolved is coming this year and we could learn more about it during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7.
