For over two decades, the Assassin's Creed franchise has expanded far beyond the digital realm, spanning legendary video game releases, a feature film, and an upcoming television series. Now, Ubisoft is venturing into a completely unexpected medium: live theater.

The publisher recently announced Heredis, a brand-new live show that brings the spirit of the Creed to the stage. Unlike previous expansions of the IP, this production is designed as a standalone narrative experience.

An Original Assassin's Creed Story

Ubisoft has confirmed via social media that Heredit features an original story arc. This means fans won't need deep lore knowledge or familiarity with previous game titles to follow the plot. The performance is being produced by The 7 Fingers theater group, a move that promises high-octane physical storytelling.

To capture the essence of the franchise, the production will heavily feature:

  • Acrobatics designed to mimic the agility of an Assassin.
  • Parkour elements integrated into the stage choreography.
  • Live dance and acting to drive the narrative forward.

According to the official show description, the plot follows a young man traveling through various eras of history in a quest to find his lost father—a theme that resonates deeply with the franchise's core DNA.

Heredis World Premiere and Tour Dates

The Assassin's Creed live experience is set to make its grand debut in Canada before heading to Europe. Fans looking to catch the show in person should note the following schedule:

Montreal Residency

The world premiere of Heredis will take place at the Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts in Montreal. The run is scheduled to begin on December 3, with the final Montreal performance concluding on December 20.

Paris Engagement

Following its Canadian debut, the show will move to France. Starting January 21, 2027, Heredis will open at the Casino de Paris, running through February 7, 2027.

While Ubisoft has indicated that further performance dates will be announced in the future, the official website for the show is already live for those looking to track upcoming tour information.
