Today’s not opening day for the MLB season, but it is opening day for a new MLB The Show Mobile. Sony has officially launched MLB The Show Mobile, so now you can keep hitting absolute bombs even if you had to take a bathroom break from the console versions. MLB The Show Mobile lets you chase dingers on your phone.

Games won’t function exactly like they do in the console versions, however. Using a card system and a Momentum resource, you’ll have to pick and choose when to deploy your best players in a game, with your squad all mixed up in a deck so you are not entirely sure who will be available at the start.

Getting Started with MLB The Show Mobile

  • The card system lets you build a rotating lineup.
  • Momentum rewards encourage strategic play.

The Seasons and Moments modes should feel familiar to longtime MLB The Show fans. The former delivers quick, three‑inning games — similar to Mini Seasons in the console version — that reward progression with extra loot. The latter offers bite‑sized challenges where you can recreate famous plays or hit specific stat targets.

Exploring the Modes and Multiplayer

MLB The Show Mobile includes a multiplayer component built around turn‑based baseball minigames. You compete against other players for the highest score, and there’s no requirement to play at the same time, giving you flexibility.

MLB The Show Mobile is now available on iOS and Android. Its big sibling MLB The Show 26 remains on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
