As rumored, today's State of Play broadcast included the official announcement of a new God of War game. This game does not star Kratos, however.
Faye is the lead character in the newly announced God of War game, which is in the works at Santa Monica Studio.
Santa Monica is also working on a remake of the original God of War trilogy. A live-action TV adaptation is also in the works with Amazon Prime Video, with production on the series now underway.
A live-service God of War game, however, was reportedly canceled in 2025..
