Pearl Abyss is introducing new ways to spice up exploration in Crimson Desert, and the addition of Crude Gold Bars is a game-changer for players looking to pad their pockets. While you might previously have seen piles of gold and coins as mere set dressing, these new bars serve as a stackable form of loot that can be sold directly to traders for a significant profit.

Finding 200 Crude Gold Bars in the Harpy Nest

If you are hunting for massive loot hauls, there is one specific location that stands out: the Harpy Nest. Located in the northern region of Pailune—a fair distance southeast of Pailune City at the peak of a tall mountain—this spot is a veritable treasure trove. You can find this nest just west of the "I" in Pailune on your map.

The nest is packed with loot, featuring:

  • Wooden boxes overflowing with bars.
  • Large piles of gold scattered throughout the area.
  • Individual bars hidden within the surrounding snow.

By being thorough during your search, you can gather approximately 200 Crude Gold Bars in roughly ten minutes of effort.

How to Maximize Your Silver Profits

While each bar is worth five silver by default, you shouldn't sell them to just any trader. To truly maximize your earnings from these Crude Gold Bars, you need to head far south to the Hernand region.

The Fishing Shop merchant in Vellua, a small fishing village, offers a much better rate. This specific merchant will purchase each bar for 7.9 silver. If you manage to collect all 200 bars from the Harpy Nest and sell them to this fisherman, your total profit jumps from 1,000 silver to roughly 1,500 silver.

Other Loot Locations in Crimson Desert

While the Harpy Nest is currently the most efficient spot for a quick payout, there are other areas to keep an eye on. The Vault of Vengeance puzzle in the Abyss also contains several bars. Accessing this loot requires you to navigate through the Spire of the Stars and complete both the Sanctorum of Insight and Secret Garden puzzles first.

Since these bars are items, they will likely respawn over time. While exact respawn timers haven't been confirmed, it is well worth revisiting the Harpy Nest periodically to repeat this lucrative loop.
