Preorders For Kingdom Hearts Collection I-III

If the new look at Kingdom Hearts 4 during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct has you eager to revisit the series, you're in luck: a new compilation of the entire saga, dubbed the Kingdom Hearts I-III Collection, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on October 8, and preorders are available now.

What's Included in the Collection

Of all the Kingdom Hearts collections we've had over the years, Kingdom Hearts Collection I-III is intended to be the definitive version to experience the entire saga. As such, it includes the most recent HD versions of every game in the franchise, including:

  • Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Cinematic Retelling
  • Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re: coded
  • Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
  • Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-
  • Kingdom Hearts Chi Back Cover
  • Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC

Preorder Bonuses

Preordering the physical or digital editions of Kingdom Hearts Collection I-III gets you one of two platform-exclusive Keyblade skins, depending on which version of the game you purchase:

  • Switch 2: Long Night Keyblade Skin
  • PS5: Midnight Blue Keyblade Skin

Additionally, physical copies include a reversible physical inlay. This is listed as a preorder bonus, though it's likely it'll be available in physical copies even after launch.

Availability and Platform Details

The Kingdom Hearts Collection I-III includes all the games outlined above on your platform of choice, plus any applicable preorder bonuses. Physical PS5 and Switch 2 preorders are available at Amazon (PS5, Switch 2), Best Buy, and GameStop, though we expect it'll be also available at other retailers soon. No physical Xbox edition has been announced yet. Digital preorders are also available on all platforms.

This new release marks the first time the Kingdom Hearts series will be available natively on the Switch 2. It's also meant to replace the Switch cloud versions of the game released a few years ago, which were recently delisted from the Switch eShop. That said, if you already own the Cloud versions on the original Nintendo Switch, you can transfer your save data to the Switch 2.

Note that the Switch 2 physical edition is a Game-Key Card that requires a 128GB download to your console. The PlayStation 5 versions are all unchanged from their previous releases.
