Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for May 2026. Headlining this month's selection is EA Sports FC 26, alongside two other highly anticipated titles. Subscribers can begin downloading these new additions on Tuesday, May 5.

What to Expect from the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games Lineup

EA Sports FC 26, the latest entry in the former FIFA franchise, arrives with its usual roster of modes, including Ultimate Team, Rivals, and Champs. This release also brings an exclusive "EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack" for members to claim throughout the month.

However, reviews aren't entirely glowing. In our 7/10 review, we reported that while the title's "on-pitch gameplay is the best it's been in a long time," its "overly aggressive Season Pass is also EA at its most money-hungry yet."

If you prefer action RPGs, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is another standout in the PlayStation Plus monthly games list. Set during China's Ming Dynasty, players control the pirate warrior Wuchang as they investigate a mysterious mutation plague.

In our 8/10 review, we praised the title for its "excellent combat, wonderful level design, an incredible skill tree, and fearsome bosses." We did note, however, to "watch out for some steep difficulty dips and spikes, and a reliance on cheap-feeling 'gotcha!' ambushes."

More Titles and Important Deadlines

Rounding out the trio is Nine Sols, a lore-rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer released in 2024. The game features combat heavily inspired by the deflection mechanics found in Sekiro and has garnered positive reviews.

As Sony gives, so it takes away. Remember that you only have until May 4 to add the April selection to your library. That collection includes:

  • Lords of the Fallen
  • Tomb Raider I-III Remastered
  • Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream
