You Can Play Star Fox Today Thanks To A New Demo

You can now experience the new Star Fox demo available on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop, as revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct livestream. This early access gives fans a chance to test the game before its full release on June 25. The demo includes the game’s tutorial and a mission known as Meteo, one of the early adventures in the story. It’s a great opportunity to get a feel for the updated gameplay and mechanics.

The demo was released alongside new footage from the full game, which showcases missions on Solar and Zoness. These levels give a glimpse into the expanded world and refined visuals of the remake. The new Star Fox is a reimagined version of Star Fox 64, announced during a surprise Nintendo Direct on May 6. That event featured over 15 minutes of gameplay, highlighting improved graphics, new cutscenes, and an online multiplayer battle mode.

Nintendo Direct Reveals More Big Announcements

In addition to the Star Fox demo, today’s Nintendo Direct confirmed the long-awaited remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a title that has been speculated about for years. New footage from Kingdom Hearts IV was also shown, marking the first update since its debut trailer in 2022. The livestream also revealed multiple Switch 2 versions of existing games, including Lies of P, Devil May Cry 5, and Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen.
