Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is not going to make it out on time, it seems. The remake of the original Tomb Raider game was originally scheduled to launch in 2026 but has now been delayed to February 2027, according to newly spotted (and subsequently deleted) retail listings showing a February 10, 2027 release date.

GameSpot has contacted Amazon Games, the publisher of the game, seeking comment about the Legacy of Atlantis release date.

If this sounds familiar, it's because another high-profile game, the Fable reboot, was also recently delayed from 2026 to February 2027.

Legacy of Atlantis will be one of two big Tomb Raider games coming in 2027 if current schedules hold, as a brand-new game, Tomb Raider Catalyst, is also slated for release in 2027.

In shifting to 2027, Legacy of Atlantis will now release after Rockstar's GTA 6 in November 2026.

Legacy of Atlantis is developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, both of which are owned by Embracer, which also owns the Tomb Raider franchise.

The remake is described as a "true reimagining of the original game."

"We've thoughtfully refreshed the experience in exciting ways. Also built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, it features a gorgeous re-envisioning of iconic environments, immersive sound design, modern gameplay mechanics, and new surprises all while honoring the spirit of the classic," reads a line from the game's description.
