Rather than simply appearing at the end of the credits, Supermassive Games has hidden the next Dark Pictures teaser behind a series of collectibles known as O Death secrets.
This hidden content serves as a memorial to the late actor Tony Pankhurst, who voiced the Curator and sadly passed away in May 2024. By requiring players to actively search for these secrets, the studio ensures his presence is felt throughout the campaign. Early Game Locations
To begin your search for the next Dark Pictures Teaser, you do not need to complete the entire game. Several secrets are hidden in the earlier episodes, allowing you to start the process sooner.
O Death Secret #2: The Man in the Bowler Hat
- Episode: 1 - Little Star
- Character: Carter
- Location: Lift the lockdown as Carter. The datapad is on the floor by the station. Pick it up before going through the door that triggers the spacewalk segment.
O Death Secret #3: Paranoia
- Episode: 3 - The Sample
- Character: Cooper
- Location: In the Mess Hall, there is a new terminal to the left of the food and drinks machines. Interact with it to find this secret.
Mid-Game Collectibles
As you progress through the narrative, the secrets become slightly more obscure, requiring you to explore specific areas off the main path.

The Way Back
To unlock the final O Death secrets and trigger the Curator's return, follow these steps:
- Reach the Hangar: Progress through the game until you are able to purge the elevator shaft. After the cutscene, your objective will change to "Get to the Hangar."
- Restore Power: Immediately to your right, you will see a receptacle missing a Power Cell. Walk further down the corridor to find the cell, slot it in, and enter the crawlspace.
- Solve the Puzzle: You will encounter an environmental puzzle involving switches and hidden wires. Activate switches using the face button (R2 or RT) and redirect power by scanning wires with the square button (Square or X).
- Find Secret #1: Continue through the server rooms and narrow gaps. You will find a Simms' Recording on the ground near a terminal. Picking up this recording reveals the first O Death secret, titled "This Doesn't Belong Here."
Note: Upon picking up your first secret, the screen will flicker, and a short cutscene of the Curator’s desk will play. The game will inform you that other secrets are hidden in previous sections. You can use the Turning Point system to rewind and locate them.
