Since 2023, Ravensburger's Disney Lorcana trading card game has successfully blended a lore-rich new world with characters and locations from iconic Disney movies. Fans of the franchise will soon be able to explore this unique spin on the universe through the upcoming art book, Disney Lorcana Quest Of Wonders: An Illumineer's Lorebook, which releases on September 1, 2026.
Ravensburger announced the new book today, alongside a new volume of the Disney Lorcana Collector's Guide for Sets 9-13. This second release is scheduled to launch two months after the lorebook, arriving on November 1, 2026. Preorders for both titles should be available soon.
Exploring the Secrets of Disney Lorcan Quest Of Wonders: An Illumineer's Lorebook
The Disney Lorcana Quest Of Wonders lorebook follows Shanzay, one of the game's in-universe Illumineers, as she discovers an ancient tome during her travels. The book details a story involving the search for a character known as Archazia—the namesake of the recent Archazia's Island set.
Readers will find written notes left by Shanzay in the fringes of the pages, recorded as she read the tome herself. Fans can expect a deep dive into the game's worldbuilding, featuring a dramatic story involving:
- A search for the mentor Archazia
- A sinister conspiracy
- A tragic betrayal
Additionally, those who purchase the book will receive a limited-edition promo card, though the specific card has not been revealed at this time.

This volume will feature high-resolution pictures and checklists to help collectors track their progress.
The upcoming guide will cover artwork and information for five specific sets:
