Fortnite Showdown: Where To Find Every Chaos Cube Available So Far

In Chapter 7 Season 2, Fortnite has brought back a massive collectible hunt that fans have missed for years. The island is now dotted with dozens of Chaos Cubes, returning as a central part of the current storyline involving the Ice King, the Foundation, and the Last Reality's alien invaders. Currently, there are 50 cubes available to discover in the main Battle Royale mode, with another 20 seemingly planned for later drops throughout the season.

Collecting these Chaos Cubes is far from just a mindless side activity; it offers substantial rewards for dedicated players. Gathering a single cube grants 4,000 XP, while collecting all five in a specific region awards 40,000 XP. If you manage to find every one of the 70 cubes on the map eventually, you will earn 80,000 XP, translating to roughly 14.5 account levels. Fortunately, these items aren't hidden behind complex puzzles; they emit a distinct sound like treasure chests and feature visual audio pings to guide your search.

Battlewood Boulevard, Sus Studios, and Dark Dominion Locations

The Chaos Cubes in the northern and central regions are scattered across urban areas, deserts, and mountainous terrain, requiring players to explore both inside and outside Points of Interest (POIs). In Battlewood Boulevard, four of the five cubes are located within the city limits. You can find one on the second floor of the movie theater next to the film projector, another atop the rock-climbing area in the northwest, a third inside a kiddie pool in the canal, and a fourth on a table inside a house in the southeast. The final cube for this region is located outside town to the southwest, inside one of the houses there.

Moving to Sus Studios, three cubes are situated directly within the studio complex, while two more await in the desert to the east. Look for one in the cooking show set on the west side, another above the main stage light rigging in the central building, and a third on the top floor of the eastern building. The remaining two can be found under the big arm of a backhoe vehicle on the land bridge and inside the Cosmic Durr Burger restaurant.

The Dark Dominion region presents a different challenge, with only one cube inside the POI itself while the rest are scattered across the surrounding countryside. Players should check a new freestanding building northwest across the river that matches Dark Dominion's architecture, as well as atop a tall server in the central underground room. Other locations include a bathtub in a small house south of town, a grill near the lodge buildings on the eastern mountain, and a fireplace inside a large house far to the southeast.

Humble Hills, Painted Palms, Wonkeeland, and Latte Landing Secrets

In Humble Hills, three cubes are found within or immediately near the residential houses, with the other two positioned high up on the eastern mountain. You can locate one on top of a large Peely statue on the northernmost building's top floor, another in the swimming pool behind the northwestern house, and a third in the hot tub behind the southwestern house. The last two require a trip to the east: one is inside the Pizza Pit truck in the dirt parking lot, and the final cube hides behind the "A" in the Battlewood sign on the mountain.

The Painted Palms region offers two cubes within the studio and three scattered around the perimeter. Keep an eye out for a cube under a small tent next to a giant hole containing a UFO, another inside a Durr Burger truck on the west side of the lot, and one in a trailer on the south side. The remaining two are slightly more obscure: one is hidden under a large rock to the east, while the last one is found inside the mouth of a carnivorous banana plant to the northeast.

Wonkeeland features only two cubes within the amusement park itself, with three others located in the mountains or woods nearby. Search for a cube in a breakable box on the second floor of a building northwest of the docks, under the big waterslide in the northeast corner, and atop the Wonkee statue just inside the entrance. The remaining cubes are found up on the mountain directly east of the previous location and hidden in a bush next to the former hot air balloon stop to the southeast.

Finally, Latte Landing has seen new additions alongside its existing snow and ice themes. Players can find a cube between two tents on a tall island northwest of town, on the deck of a half-sunk ship to the northeast, and on the top floor of the Bun Voyage building in the southwest corner. Additional cubes are located on a swingset east of town and inside a tent at the south end that players must break open to reveal.

Future Chaos Cubes and Strategic Collection Tips

As the season progresses, more Chaos Cubes will likely appear, particularly with recent updates like the April 16 Ripped Tides drop adding new locations to the list. The strategic value of hunting these items cannot be overstated; while some may require movement items to reach elevated or hard-to-access spots, they do not demand complicated platforming sequences.

To maximize your efficiency when searching for Chaos Cubes, consider the following tips:

  • Listen carefully: The distinct sound of a chest combined with an exclamation mark and visual audio ping makes tracking much easier than blind searching.
  • Check breakable objects: Several cubes are hidden inside boxes, coolers, or tents that must be destroyed to reveal their contents.
  • Use the map: Referencing specific coordinates for each region helps you plan a route that minimizes backtracking across the island.

With 50 cubes currently available and the potential for more, dedicating time to this hunt is one of the most effective ways to level up your account in Chapter 7 Season 2. By following this guide, you can systematically clear every region and secure those valuable Chaos Cubes before they become a distant memory.
