The wait for the Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred release time is drawing to a close, as players prepare to venture into the isles of Skovos for the first time. As Tyler Colp noted in our official review, this is a "triumphant expansion that gives the action RPG more depth than it's ever had before." It is a must-play for anyone invested in the series.
New Content and Patch 3.0 Overhauls
Beyond the new campaign, the expansion brings massive changes to the core gameplay loop. Players can look forward to significant overhauls to each class's skill systems and many of the game's unique items.
These updates are arriving via patch 3.0, which will be available to all players, regardless of whether they purchase the expansion. Even if you aren't buying the new content, you may want to log in to see how the gameplay has evolved.
