Developer 3DClouds has officially announced a major partnership with the FIA Formula E World Championship to bring a fully licensed expansion to its upcoming 2025 racer, Formula Legends. Titled Formula E: Electric Evolution, this massive content update promises to integrate the high-octane world of electric racing directly into the game's ecosystem.

The expansion is scheduled to launch on April 30, 2026, for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. While Nintendo fans will have to wait a bit longer, 3DClouds has confirmed that Nintendo platforms will receive the content at an unspecified later date.

This licensed expansion is designed to be as authentic as possible, offering players a deep dive into the electric racing era. The content package includes:

  • Official Manufacturers: All participating brands from the series.
  • Authentic Drivers and Teams: Fully licensed personalities and racing stables.
  • Real-World Tracks: Six iconic locations from the official Formula E circuit, including Berlin, Tokyo, London, São Paulo, Miami, and Shanghai.
  • Generational Racing: In line with the core gameplay of Formula Legends, players can race across different eras using GEN1, GEN2, and GEN3 cars.
