How to get the Baltheon Armor in Crimson Desert

Who doesn't love finding a fresh set of plate armor to deck out their character in Crimson Desert? The Baltheon Armor was introduced in the most recent patch, offering a distinct aesthetic shift for players. Unlike the dark and eerie Shadow or Frostcursund sets, this new gear feels much more like traditional, noble knightly attire than a "lich king" look.

Unlocking the Baltheon Armor in Hernand

You can find this prestigious-looking set within the city of Hernand, which serves as the home of chivalry. However, acquiring the Baltheon Armor isn't as simple as walking into a shop and handing over some gold. If you attempt to purchase it directly from Rhett’s store in Hernand, you will find the items are "Only sold to those who hold prestige."

To bypass this restriction, you must first obtain a specific item known as the Hernandian Crown. This item acts as your "key" to proving your status to the shopkeeper.

How to Acquire the Hernandian Crown

To get the crown, you will need to head to the Contribution store located inside Hernand Castle. Here is what you need to know about the purchase:

  • Item Name: Hernandian Crown
  • Cost: 70 Contribution points
  • Requirement: You must have the item in your possession (it does not need to be equipped)

Because this costs 70 points, it is the second most expensive item in that specific shop. This means it isn't something you can typically grab during the very early stages of your playthrough. Once you have the crown in your inventory, the item description notes it is "Imbued with prestige," which satisfies Rhett's requirements.

Completing Your Knightly Set

Once you have the Hernandian Crown, return to Rhett and speak to him again. The shop menu will now allow you to purchase the core components of the set, including:

  • Baltheon Helmet
  • Baltheon Armor
  • Baltheon Gloves

While it remains unclear if this specific set includes dedicated boots or a cape, you can easily customize your look. The Canta Boots, which are also available from Rhett, pair excellently with the set. Additionally, any of the Hernand knight cloaks found in the Contribution shop will complete the aesthetic, though you may need to sell your Hernandian Crown to afford those extra pieces.
